Vegan Marshmallow Recipe
Some people prefer to make their own vegan marshmallows at home so they know the ingredients that are going into your finished product.
There are a few recipes online for beginners to advanced so you can create vegan marshmallows based on your individual culinary skills.
The ingredients you will need are:
1/3 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons of agar agar
1 teaspoon of organic vanilla
2 cups organic sugar
1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon of water
1 cup and 1 tablespoon of organic corn syrup
Mix the water with the organic vanilla extract. Add the agar agar and allow the mixture to sit for an hour. Combine sugar, salt and corn syrup in a saucepan with 1 tablespoon of water. Bring it to a boil and let it cook until the mixture turns into a soft ball.
Take the agar agar and syrup mixtures. Once the mixture becomes fluffy, the marshmallows are ready.
